The 2011 Porsche Panamera, was launched in the 2009 and it was Porches’s first four door sedan to compete luxury sedan category. It was quite successful in getting attention in a short period of time as luxury sedan out of Porsche’s sports car heritage. It competes successfully with top ends segment cars like the Aston Martin Rapide or the Mercedes-Benz CLS-class, It combines all one would look from a luxury car, performance, good look, comfort and luxury.
The 2011 Porsche Panamera is a four-passenger, four-door hatchback that is offered in five trim levels; Base, 4, S, 4S and Turbo. The Porsche Panamera Base and 4 are powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The base can sprint zero to 60 mph in as little as 5.6 seconds. The Porsche Panamera S and 4S receive a 4.8-liter V8 engine with 400 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Panamera S can reach zero to 60 mph in either 5.2 seconds while the 4S can achieve that within 4.8 seconds.
The Panamera Turbo gets a twin-turbocharged version of the same V8 engine producing an impressive 500 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. The Turbo can make zero to sixty in 4.0 seconds. An optional Panamera Turbo Kit increases the performance with titanium alloy turbines and engine management tweaks, boosting the Panamera Turbo’s output to 540 hp and 590 lb-ft.
Every Panamera is equipped with a ZF-engineered seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission. The Panamera Base and S are rear-wheel drive cars, while the Panamera 4, 4S and Turbo are all-wheel drive. Fuel economy is around 18 mpg in the city and 27mpg on the highway for the Base variant, the 4 achieves 18mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway, the s and 4s have 16/24 mpg while the top end Turbo achieves 15 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.
The 2011 Porsche Panamera Base and Panamera 4 comes equipped with long list of standard features including adaptive suspension dampers, 18-inch wheels, rear parking sensors, a power rear hatch, dual-zone automatic climate control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering column, a sunroof, eight-way power front seats, driver memory functions, a cooled glove-box, heated front seats, leather upholstery, a 60/40-split rear seatback and rear bucket seats. Also standard are a hard-drive-based navigation system and an 11-speaker CD audio system. The only difference between Panamera Base and Panamera 4 is the drive system, the 4 has all-wheel drive while the Base is a rear-wheel drive. The Panamera S and all-wheel-drive 4S also gets all the above features as standard.

The Chevrolet Cobalt comes in two forms, two door coupe or five door family sedan. The Cobalt comes nine trim level starting from the Base Coupe to top-end SS Turbocharged Coupe. The Fuel-efficient Cobalt combines both performance and comfort specially the top-end SS.
The Chevrolet Cobalt Base, LS and LT shares same 2.2-liter inline four-cylinder engine producing 155 horsepower and 150lb-ft of torque. A five-speed manual is the standard transmission, with a four-speed automatic available as an option for the LS and LT.
Fuel economy with the manual transmission is 25mpg in the city, 35mpg on the highway and 29mpg combined. The Cobalt with the automatic transmission achieves 24mpg in the city, 33mpg on the highway and 27mpg combined.
The top-end Cobalt SS Coupe is equipped with a 2.0liter turbocharged inline-4 engine producing 260 horsepower and 260lb-ft of torque. The only transmission available is a five-speed manual achieving 22mpg in the city, 30mpg on the highway and 25 mpg combined.
The base Cobalt Base is equipped with a 60/40-split rear seat with a trunk pass-through, 15-inch steel wheels, OnStar, a tilt steering wheel, satellite radio, a trip computer and a four-speaker stereo with CD/MP3 player and an auxiliary audio jack. The Cobalt LS adds air-conditioning. The LT adds upgraded front seats, full power accessories and a front center armrest. The 2LT Sedan and Coupe adds 16-inch alloy wheels, antilock brakes and cruise control.
The optional features in Chevy Cobalt LT includes bluetooth, 16-inch aluminum wheels, antilock brakes, a USB port for the audio system and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio and cruise controls as a package called “MyLink”. Another package “Sun and Sound” adds a sunroof and a premium Pioneer seven-speaker sound system. The “Sports” package adds 17inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, front foglamps, reworked front and rear fascias, Bluetooth and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with remote audio and cruise controls in Cobalt LT. Most of these features are available as individual options too.
The top-level Cobalt SS adds an exclusive sport-tuned suspension, sport seats covered with a suedelike material, 18-inch wheels shod with performance tires, Brembo front brakes, unique exterior and interior styling cues, a sunroof, the premium Pioneer stereo and Bluetooth.
Full-length side curtain airbags are standard on all Cobalts. Most Cobalts have a front-disc/rear-drum brake setup; SS models have performance-tuned four-wheel disc brakes. Antilock braking (ABS) is optional on the LS and LT and standard on the 2LT and SS. ABS-equipped models with automatic transmissions come equipped with standard traction control. Side airbags and stability control aren’t offered.
Safety features includes Front and rear head airbags, immobilizer, dusk sensing headlamps, passenger airbag occupant sensing deactivation, emergency interior trunk release, tire pressure monitoring as standard.
The Buick Regal is a four door, five passenger mid-size sports sedan, available in two trims, the Regal CXL and the Regal CXL Turbo. The Regal is a handsome car with American look and feel.
Stadard features in the Buick Regal includes keyless entry, 18-inch alloy wheels, foglamps, cruise control, heated sideview mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, full power accessories, OnStar, a power driver seat, leather upholstery, heated front seats, a tilt-and-telescoping steering column, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a trip computer, a 60/40-split rear seatback,
a seven-speaker audio system with CD/MP3 player, iPod/auxiliary audio jacks, satellite radio, steering-wheel-mounted controls and Bluetooth connectivity. Upgrade option includes a sunroof, a hard-drive-based navigation system with digital music storage and a nine-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system.
The Regal CXL Turbo adds rear parking sensors and a 12-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, also available on the standard Regal CXL as optional Comfort and Convenience package. Options in the CXL Turbo include xenon headlights, 19-inch wheels and an Interactive Drive Control system.
Two engine option available in the 2011 Buick Regal either a 2.4liter four-cylinder engine that makes 182horsepower and 172lb-ft of torque, or a 2.0liter turbocharged variant that produces 220horsepower and 258lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic with manual shift capability is standard for both engines; the turbo is also offered with a six-speed manual transmission
Standard safety equipment in the 2011 Buick Regal includes stability control, antilock brakes, traction control, OnStar, front seat side-impact airbags and full-length side curtain airbags. Rear-seat thorax airbags are an extra-cost option on all Regals, while brake assist is included only on the turbo model.
The cabin is quiet, luxurious and comfortable inside specially on the front row with comfortable seats. The back seats migh be little uncomfortable for tall passengers due the receding roofline. The Regal has a sizable trunk that measures 14.3cubic feet, and there is a wide opening to both the cargo area and into the cabin when the split backseat is folded.
The Audi A5 is a four seater well designed and luxurious coupe and convertible with all the amenities a modern car should have. Both are available in Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige trim levels. Audi A5 is based on Audi A4 sports, the main difference is A5 having two doors unlike four doors in A4.
The Audi A5 is available only with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The A5 comes equiped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 211horsepower and 258lb-ft of torque along with a standard six-speed manual and an optional automatic transmission. An option of 3.2-liter V6 engine also available, but only with the automatic transmission. The A5 coupe comes standard with all-wheel drive, optional for the cabriolet.
Standard features in the Audi A5 Premium includes eight-way power front seats, 18-inch wheels, a dash-mounted Multi Media Interface controller, foglights, cruise control, leather upholstery and a 10-speaker CD audio system with satellite radio and an auxiliary audio jack. The coupe is equipped with a tilt-only sunroof, while the cabriolet gets a power-retractable soft top and a wind blocker.
The Audi A5 Premium Plus adds LED running lamps and taillights, different wheels, tri-zone automatic climate control, automatic bi-xenon headlights, automatic wipers, heated front seats, Bluetooth and an iPod/USB audio interface. The options includes the Navigation package, voice controls, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, HD radio and a color trip-computer screen. The Audi A5 Prestige adds key-less ignition/entry, auto-dimming exterior mirrors, driver memory functions and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system. Other options in Prestige includes an optional blind-spot warning system, Audi Drive Select and adaptive cruise control.
The Sport package available for the Audi A5 Premium Plus and Audi A5 Prestige trim levels adds a sport-tuned suspension, 19-inch wheels, high-performance tires, sport seats and shift paddles for the automatic transmission. The Audi A5 cabriolet ‘Comfort package’ adds ventilated front sport seats, a neck-level heating system, adjustable lumbar for the passenger seat and upgraded leather upholstery.
Safety features in Audi A5 includes anti-lock brakes, front-seat side airbags, stability control and side curtain airbags. Optional safety features in A5 Prestige are blind-spot warning system and adaptive cruise control.
Audi A5 is packed with class and sophistication. Its cabin is luxurious, hi-tech and comfortable. The front seats are comfortable, though rear seats lack leg-room and head-room. The trunk can hold 12 cubic feet of load. On folding down the rear seats A5 coupe can accommodate larger items. The A5 Cabriolet features a power-operated fabric top that is stored beneath a metal cover, a lighter and simple arrangement than an expensive retractable hardtop. The Cabriolet also got good amount of space within the trunk when the top is down the load space is around 10cu ft.

The Volkswagen Golf is a five-seater two door or four door compact family hatchback. Golf is available in six trim, 2.5L 2 Door, 2.5L 2 Door PZEV, 2.5L 4 Door, 2.5L 4 Door PZEV, 2.0L 2 Door TDI and 2.0L 4 Door TDI.
The Volkswagen Golf 2.5L 2 Door is equipped with a standard 2.5liter engine producing 170horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque that achieves 22mpg in city and 30mpg on highway. A 5 speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 6 speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.
The Golf 2.0L 4 Door TDI is equipped with a standard 2.0liter turbo, diesel engine producing 140horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, that achieves 30mpg in city and 41mpg on highway. A 6 speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. A 6 speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.
The Volkswagen Golf base 2.5L includes air-conditioning, 15-inch steel wheels, full power accessories, heated outside mirrors, cruise control, a trip computer, eight-way manually adjustable front seats, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, split-folding rear seats, metallic interior trim and an eight-speaker stereo with a CD/MP3 player.
The Volkswagen Golf TDI trims adds a sport suspension, a leather-wrapped shift knob and brake lever, 17-inch alloy wheels, foglights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, floor mats, and an upgraded sound system with touchscreen controls, satellite radio, split-folding rear seats with a center armrest and pass-through, Bluetooth, an indash CD changer and an iPod interface.
Other otional features includes Cold Weather package and a sunroof. Bluetooth is optional on the Golf 2.5L. The TDI models comes with options like a premium Dynaudio sound system, adaptive xenon headlights, rear seat airbags and a navigation system.
Standard safety features in VW Golf include front-seat side airbags, antilock disc brakes, stability control and head curtain airbags.
The Volkswagen Golf is an effortless car to drive, and feels composed and solid on the road. Good soundproofing in the cabin makes it one of the quietest in its class. The cabin is surprisingly specious and comfortable. Two adults can sit comforatably on the rear row with enough head room and leg room. The boot is large compared to other hatchbacks and can hold up to 12.4 cubic feet of load.
