2011 Audi A5

The Audi A5 is a four seater well designed and luxurious coupe and convertible with all the amenities a modern car should have. Both are available in Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige trim levels. Audi A5 is based on Audi A4 sports, the main difference is A5 having two doors unlike four doors in A4.

The Audi A5 is available only with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The A5 comes equiped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 211horsepower and 258lb-ft of torque along with a standard six-speed manual and an optional automatic transmission. An option of 3.2-liter V6 engine also available, but only with the automatic transmission. The A5 coupe comes standard with all-wheel drive, optional for the cabriolet.

Standard features in the Audi A5 Premium includes eight-way power front seats, 18-inch wheels, a dash-mounted Multi Media Interface controller, foglights, cruise control, leather upholstery and a 10-speaker CD audio system with satellite radio and an auxiliary audio jack. The coupe is equipped with a tilt-only sunroof, while the cabriolet gets a power-retractable soft top and a wind blocker.
The Audi A5 Premium Plus adds LED running lamps and taillights, different wheels, tri-zone automatic climate control, automatic bi-xenon headlights, automatic wipers, heated front seats, Bluetooth and an iPod/USB audio interface. The options includes the Navigation package, voice controls, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, HD radio and a color trip-computer screen. The Audi A5 Prestige adds key-less ignition/entry, auto-dimming exterior mirrors, driver memory functions and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system. Other options in Prestige includes an optional blind-spot warning system, Audi Drive Select and adaptive cruise control.
The Sport package available for the Audi A5 Premium Plus and Audi A5 Prestige trim levels adds a sport-tuned suspension, 19-inch wheels, high-performance tires, sport seats and shift paddles for the automatic transmission. The Audi A5 cabriolet ‘Comfort package’ adds ventilated front sport seats, a neck-level heating system, adjustable lumbar for the passenger seat and upgraded leather upholstery.

Audi A5 is packed with class and sophistication. Its cabin is luxurious, hi-tech and comfortable. The front seats are comfortable, though rear seats lack leg-room and head-room. The trunk can hold 12 cubic feet of load. On folding down the rear seats A5 coupe can accommodate larger items. The A5 Cabriolet features a power-operated fabric top that is stored beneath a metal cover, a lighter and simple arrangement than an expensive retractable hardtop. The Cabriolet also got good amount of space within the trunk when the top is down the load space is around 10cu ft.

2010 Toyota Matrix

The Toyota Matrix is a sporty crossover based on the now Corolla platform with all-new interior. Matrix is available in seven trim level, Matrix Base 5-Spd MT, Matrix Base 4-Spd AT, Matrix S 5-Spd MT, Matrix S 5-Spd AT, Matrix S AWD 4-Spd AT, Matrix XRS 5-Spd MT and Matrix XRS 4-Spd AT with two engine options.

The Toyota Matrix base model comes with the 1.8liter DOHC 16-valve dual independent VVT-i 4-cylinder engine that produces 132 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 128lb-ft of torque at 4400 rpm. With the five-speed manual, the Matrix gets 26mpg in the city and 32mpg on the highway with a slight decrease with the four-speed automatic to 25mpg in the city and 31mpg on the highway respectively.

The Toyota Matrix S and Matrix XRS come with the 2.4Liter DOHC 16-valve VVT-i 4-cylinder engine that produces 158 horsepower, 26 horsepower over the 1.8L engine and an extra 34 lb.-ft of torque. Fuel consumption drops from the 1.8L engine at 21mpg in the city and 28mpg on the highway with the five-speed manual and 21mpg in the city and 29mpg on the highway. The S also comes in an all-wheel drive model (S AWD 4-Spd AT) that comes standard with the four-speed automatic. The fuel consumption drops to 20mpg in the city and 26mpgon the highway respectively.

All models come standard with safety equipments such as an anti-lock brake system with electronic brake-force distribution with Brake assist, vehicle stability control with traction control, front airbags for both the driver and passenger as well as seat-mounted side airbags, active headrests and front and rear side curtain airbags and direct tire pressure monitor system.

The new Toyota Matrix is sportier, sexier, with phenomenal cargo space. It offers plenty of headroom for tall drivers and passengers. The upright sitting stance that allows for easy access and comfortable all-over visibility. There is 15 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. The rear seat is split 60/40 and pressing a button flips the seat down to provide a completely flat floor capable of holding 53 cubic feet of cargo.
